Editing Registration Page Templates

While some components of registration pages are already templated, they can be changed. Some items that can be changed include; buttons, smaller text, etc. 

1. Start at the Account Level 

2. Click ‘Account Settings,’ then ‘Page Templates,’ then ‘Registration’ 

3.  Click ‘Add New’

 

4. Provide a ‘Template Description,’ and click ‘Copy From A System Template’  

5. Click ‘Select System Template,’ to view a dropdown list of templates (this list is all items you can update from here) 

6. If wanting to update a standard registration page, click ‘Registration - Default Template (system)’ 

    7. Under ‘Select Template Category’ select ‘Basic Registration’ and click ‘Create’ 

    8. Click into the template you just selected from the ‘Page Template List – Registration' 

    • Within this template, you will see all the items that you can engage with: 
      • Event Title
      • Live Date Time
      • Registration Page Abstract
        • This is where your event level registration page abstract will populate
      • Registration Fields
      • These are placeholders, do not adjust or remove them at the template level. 
      • Buttons
      • Imagery (banner, account logo, etc.)
        • For example, the images are being pulled dynamically from the backend, populating with the event registration banner image 
          • If an event has two registration pages that need to have different banners, this is where you would go in to change out the banner for a custom banner
    • Using templates, you can...
      • Adjust text and variables
      • To adjust colors or text, click on an element then select the paintbrush icon in the top bar menu. Scroll to the setting you want to adjust (opacity, text, color, etc.)
      • Remove template inclusions or reorder them
      • Add items and make more detailed customizations

    Note: Do NOT remove any fields (First Name, Last Name, Email, and Password) or placeholder error messaging at the template level. Fields can be adjusted in your registration page settings at the event level. Templates use classes and CSS that may be tricky to adjust, so only adjust what is necessary. 

    9. Once the template design is complete, click ‘Save’ (floppy disk icon) 

    10. Click ‘Events’ in the Event Settings Panel, and click into your event 

    11. To use the registration page that you just edited, click ‘Registration’ in the Events Setting Panel, then ‘Pages’ 

    12. Under ‘Pages,’ click into your registration page 

    13. Under ‘Page Template’ click ‘Select Template,’ and select the template that you just edited under ‘My Account Templates’ 

    14. Click ‘Save’
